A perfect example of style over substance.
You walk in thinking you have discovered a cool venue, as it's situated in a big warehouse with a trnedy bar, with a decent beer and spirit collection.
Unfortunately the brand themselves as a "tapas bar", which actually means that they only have a short menu of the typical cheap pub snacks. This are by no means cheap and can actually be described as disgusting.
Our squid was chunky, cold and chewy. The halloumi was rock solid, cold, with a weird taste and grainy texture. The Thai beef skewer was just cheap beef which you were expected to dip into a cheap chilli dip and the falafel didn't resemble falafel.
You would honestly be better off at a whetherspoons. I can only assume that customers just come here for te booze and are then too drunk to care about the food quality.
The staff didn't seem to clued up either it took a lot of effort to set-up a tab.

Chads Place is hidden away from the masses down a side street and is only really known by people who work nearby. That used to be the case until everyone found it, subsequently prices have rocketed. The eating in menu starts at £10 and varies through to £15. I must stress that the food is good, however at those prices this is a one every now and again place. Certainly overpriced IMO and the service has become rather blasay due to their success.
This is the ideal place if you are entertaining a client and want to take them for lunch.
