In a word - 'avoid'.This is a very poor restaurant which serves food which bears only the faintest resemblance to Italian cuisine. Most of the main courses appear to come with mashed potato! It is bland and inauthentic. If you like good Italian food, you will not wish to come here.

Good food and attentive service, until I said I was disappointed with the "Italian Cheeseboard" (which in reality was 4 pieces of reputedly Italian cheese, each of which was the size of a boiled sweet, accompanied with a few water biscuits and Branston pickle! All for £5.50). The waitress relayed my disappointment to the manager, and from then on we were totally blanked by him: had it been a rude and unwarranted comment from me, I could have understood the reaction, but the feedback was given politely, and my reasons explained.

When it came to paying the bill not a word was passed and he pointedly avoided any eye contact, instead staring out through the window whilst the credit card was being processed.

Not a cheap meal, starter and main course were very good, surroundings were pleasant, but I would not touch this place with a bargepole in the future.

Went there tonight with a friend & our wives to celebrate his 50th. Food was ok to good. Service was really poor, starchy, cold, clumsy, rushed & reluctant, to be honest. The waitress should not give up her day job, whatever that might be.

I'd gone there on the basis of good reviews from others. I have no plans to retrun. Perhaps for a cheap lunch deal, but for a nice evening meal thewy are way off the mark!

Ferrari's (Bromley) is a lovely Italian restaurant. We have been there three times now and haven't been disappointed once. The dishes, the service and atmosphere are all first rate. Just felt compelled to mention it and say thank you to all concern.

My partner and i recently dined at ferraris and we ordered the crab and avacado salad and the baked mushrooms for starter, and for mains we had the chicken supreme and the duck. We found the food to be absolutley delicious. our waiter was very funny and entertaining, also was knowledgeable about wine. we had went with his recomendations and i must say he was spot on. Also tried an italian spritzer which was very nice indeed.

The service was very attentive even though the place was packed. The price was reasonable however there was a service charge of %12.5 which we thought was a bit rich. all in we would be back anyways. thank you Ferraris for a fantastic evening.

Has this place changed hands? Tonight we had to endure the owner/manager having a row on his mobile in a very loud voice 3 times. The mashed potato was cold but he insisted it wasn't!! Suffice to say we will not return and will report to others about the experience which was well below par. There are enough restaurants around Bromley not to have to return To Ferraris.

Two other customers overheard what had happened and said it was their second visit in a fortnight and would be their last but did not elaborate why!

We did tell Ferraris that we would not return - they gave the impression they didn't care.

I went with my wife on saturday night for a celebration. The restaurant was busy which was good but the service was non existent. We were put in the centre of the Restaurant so everybody was walking back and forth to the kitchen. We were invisible. We had a starter which was good and the mains although tasty were small portions. We waited 20 minutes for a dessert menu so we decided to leave. Service was added 12.5 % which I paid just to be polite we will not be returning waiters unhelpful and unfreindly. The quickest the waiter came was when cash was left on the table. Busy or not customers are paying and do expect service.

I took a party of 16 to Ferrari's on the 20th March '10. We were celebrating my 62nd birthday. Although I have lived in Somerset for over 20 I am originally from Lee and my husband from Eltham. Most of our friends are still in the south east so I looked for a resturant on the internet in Bromley it being central to all (except us really!!). I was impressed by the comprehensive website and subsequently the excellent help over party menu and bookings. The menu was adapted to the high number of vegetarians in the party and I felt a weight had been taken off my shoulders. I was anxious near the evening as Ferrari's was an unknown quantity and I had the responsibility of a good evening for 16 people. Right from entering the door and leaving we received nothing but excellent attention in all ways and the food was thoroughly enjoyed but everyone from the intitial bread/dipping oil through to the coffee. Many of the party who had not been to Ferrari's expressed a real interest in going again. thanks Ferrar's for a fabulous venue with all that makes a very good evening special.

love love love Ferrari's - went for pre theatre dinner last week. The food was excellent, the staff are always so friendly. The food was delivered very quickly to our table giving us ample time to attend the theatre. I will be back........

Discovered Ferrari's after a friend moved to Bromley a few weeks ago. Looked really cosy from the outside so thought we'd try it.

What a find! The service is exceptional, with staff being so friendly and professional. And the food was such an unexpected surprise.

I had sea-bass and crushed potatoes. It looked and tasted amazing. My friend had honey and balsamic seared duck breast and was still talking about it a week later!

I live in south London but have arranged a night in Bromley next week just to try Ferrari's again. By far the best restaurant discovery in ages!
