A good place to start your shopping at Harvey Nichols from the top floor down to designer floor!

The food is simple but very good and fresh. Good salads, good pasta, good plate of cheeses. And nice terrace!

The only thing that is less constant in quality is the service, as you can alternatively have an efficient and smily waiter or a very unefficient and unpatient waitress...

Prices are also quite high given the simplicity of the dishes, but well, you're in Harvey Nich's, what did you expect?

fantastic!

the new cuisine at the fifth floor is lighter, more complex, with a confidence that reflects great skill in the kitchen.

highlights include:

fantastic scallop carpaccio with lemon dressing and caper was stunning. a light creamy texture to the scallop accented with clear flavours and a salty, aromatic complexity in the background.

magnificent pyrenees pork, with a light jus reduction; perfectly cooked, soft and melting, whilst the saucing was well judged. the truffle mash was powerful, and rich - strong, clear truffle flavours abound.

desserts not quite so thrilling, but the assurance of the former dishes more than makes up.

wine list is superb, service effusive without being overbearing, shame about the room though.

easily michelin star quality.

Great atmosphere, fabulous waiters and a happening bar. My food was incredible and at £18 for two courses at 10pm, amazing value for money. Sadly, my husband had to send his food back as it had been sprinkled with so much salt that it burned lips in one bite! I will review food based on my meal!

We would go back! Great place!

There's a new chef .. and the food is fantastic.. elegantly presented - innovatively put together - amazing fusion of taste/freshness and flavours.. Great wine list .. Fantastic service.. Yes it's expensive - it cost us £80 a head .. but for a post shopping treat with the girls - a great way to spend a couple of hours.. Only complaint is the shabby toilets - slightly spoils the mood.. Otherwise brilliant brilliant..
