Totally dissatisfied. Mains meal at £15 didn't even come with vegetables, and alone it wasn't a big enough portion to feed a budgie. We were asked if we'd like some bread with the meal as if it were complementary. Unfortunately the bill showed us that the bread was £6 and the butter was £2. Vegetables were an optional extra to the meal at roughly £2 a portion (ie., sauteed pots alone were £2). Paying £6 for a couple of scoops of ice cream can only be an option for those who have no mortgate or kids, or for those who are unable to eat solids.

Woefully overpriced menu, none of us will ever step into that restaurant again. The waiters were very accommodating, but they would be considering they made £145 out of 3 people.

I gave the waiters a tip but, unfortunately, I cannot print that here!

we had an early pretheatre meal at this restaurant last friday, the waiters were very accomodating and welcoming. our food orders were mixtures of pasta ,meat and fish selections. all members of the group loved their dishes and spoke highly of their good food. we had the house wine which was pleasant and good priced. we shall come back for more when back in london.

nice restaurant indeed.food was delicious and generous in portion. waiters made us feel welcomed in the room upstairs. it felt as if we were eating in their home. i mean it had a homely feeling which was realy relaxing. for those smokers among our group they had a roof terrace with open air where they could smoke which was great. we enjoyed our visit to this restaurant and will recommend to our friends.

The service was pleasant if somewhat distracted even though the restaurant had very few diners when we visited. The menu is old fashioned Italian, which can be charming and tasty, but not unfortunately here. Odd stracciatella soup (the egg had curdled), bland bresaiola starters. Veal pizziaola barely adequate and saltimbocca which certainly did not jump in my mouth. Potatoes sauteed with skin on, deep fried courgettes good. Pricey even with the 50% discount, daylight robbery if you paid the menu prices, and the mains come unadorned with not a single spud so budget extra for the sides. House red is rough on the palate.
