Who o who did i choose this place, the food is terrible, i can not beleive what you can serve up these days.
The place is cramped and very service is terrible, they are only there to extort every last penny out of you.
I have not found a descent "morrocan/Lebanese"place to eat. most of them are overpriced and taste awful

I went to this restaurant with friends on the spur of the moment on Saturday night. Although we had to wait over half an hour for a table (as we hadn't pre-booked) the time went by quickly as we stood downstairs at the bar watching the belly dancer and getting caught up in the overall ambience. The whole restaurant was buzzing and with the authentic decor you feel like you've been whisked out of london to the north of africa. Each of us ordered a different dish and were pleasantly surprised by the result. Good, healthy portions with extra side dishes and full of flavour. I have eaten at a number of similar restaurants and overall, Maison Touaregue ticks all of the right boxes. It's not somewhere for a romantice meal, but great for a large group or meal with a difference with friends. It's important to remember that Lebanese food is quite basic, so don't expect haute cuisine. Go for the overall experience and you won't be disappointed.
