Went for lunch with colleagues. The food was awful, tasteless and expensive, We were squashed in right by the door which was really annoying, despite the place being empty. The cutlery was filthy, as was the laminated menu. Staff were disinterested.
Guess this place makes it's money on passing tourist trade that doesn't return. Go somewhere else, there are so many much nicer places within 5 minutes walk.

I went with a friend a couple of weeks ago, having enjoyed meals there in the past. Restaurant was quite busy but by no means full and we were the only ones waiting for a table. The greeter asked us to wait while a table was set up and we spotted a nice corner table which a couple had just vacated but were refused this on the grounds that "this table is for four" even though it had just had two occupants. We were offered a cramped table lined up against the back wall cheek-by-jowl with its neighbours. We declined this and went elsewhere. Not sure why but suspect that as two women, we were considered less worthy of the better table and were therefore being consigned to a less attractive part of the restaurant. Thanks, but no thanks, especially when there was no queue and several larger empty tables which could have accommodated the invisible foursome more comfortably than the table we were refused.
