Went here a few years ago when it was Beauberry House. Now that it seemed to be under new management, we thought that we would give it a try on Friday.
The building is, simply, stunning - a white Georgian House set in parkland. A warm and friendly welcome into a smart and fairly busy dining room. Good variety of dishes on the menu, all well prepared and presented. A thoughtful wine list as well. My Eaton (sic) Mess was probably the best I've ever had.
We liked the place so much that we met a friend there the following day for drinks - other people seemed to be enjoying the bar on Saturday afternoon as well. Bonus -it is dog-friendly so perfect for a post-walk pint.
Great to see someone trying to make a go of it and we will be back.
