The Clachan

at last i found my local and its taken me two years of living in london to get a decent pint and food that actully tastes like food!! its not a fake new but old pub and it was never a bank!! all the staff actually care about service and speak english fluently or are english (even if i dont!!) which is a miracle in central london. i go to a english pub for english beer, surroundings and some decent talk at the bar which is exactly what the clachan is. i reccomend it highly and if you visting you can take yor family upstairs till 10 at night, i took my grandarents and they want to go back when they next visit as the traditional fish and chips were amazing!!

I'm from Germany and I spend some days in London to visit a friend. We accidently found the Pub and I have to admit that I were really surprised about the great atmosphere. There were a guy at the bar who really took my breath. I don't know his name, but he has brown hair in Rasta style. Unfortunately we hadn't the chance to talk to each other but I can't get him out of my head. If there is any way to contact him don't hesitate to call me. Best wishes
