Food is very good. As a regular customer I can’t complain about the food. In a restaurant the taste of the food is the selling point. After years of dinning at Sri Rathiga, I tried a different menu, a two course meal full of sea food. A dish called Vallam fish was fantastic boneless fish and Prawn 77, although a more than average in price but it was certainly worth paying for a lovely set of prawns. For the main we had crab curry and fish curry, the taste of the food reminded of my visit to South India a few years ago. Simply mouth watering dishes. My only suggestion would be to improve the service!

Eat here about twice a month on average. Always vegetarian and always totally satisfied. Staff very friendly, welaoming and determined to please. Often bring friends and relations, who are equally pleased with meat dishes. Very good to find Southern Indian dishes as different, fresher and more tasty than trad local 'Brit' curries.Love the dosas!!

My wife and I thought we would try this restaurant as it seemed to have good net reviews and is local to us.Well, where to start! Decor is pleasant, restaurant has a warm, homely feel. Service, above average for the area. Food, exceptional, I have been eating Indian food for 20 years and have never tasted anything quite like it. It needs to be tried to be believed, extremely tender lamb with no fat or stringy bits, sauces with no grease, samosas with taste, soft-shell crab curry to die for. We will be back and I doubt that any other Indian restaurants will be getting any of our money in the future.
