We have been to Cafe Rouge many times now. We always enjoyed it, no doubt.
The staff is extremely polite and friendly, the food is gorgeous and I am always full at the end. We keep going back for romantic evenings, anniversaries, birthdays etc. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Had lunch on Sunday 14th Jan.which was very disappointing.Restaurant was very busy, but service was good. However my meal(poulet Breton) was lukewarm with lumpy mash.My sons steak frites was a joke for £12.95. The steak was tiny (supposedly 7 oz) and he had about 15 chips-it was like a childs portion but not at a childs price. We would certainly not rush back-in fact it is off our list of eateries.

Bleugh ! This is manufactured food just short of popping to a Macdonalds. - Its all pre-frozen and the muppet could do better. I went for a special menu that was Mushroom in a Garlic cream sauce. The Sauce was like water and we were given one small round of bread to dip.
I ordered a Mushroom ommelette too - except it didnt have any mushrooms in it - and when I ask, the waitress said it had cheese in it, but I couldnt see it because it was whisked into the egg - funny, because it didnt taste of cheese either.
The kids meal are really not healthy or even leaning towards it and the drinks are over priced for what you get.
Its OK for coffee, but thats about it.
