K2 Indian Takeaway

Have just received my umpteenth order form the excellent K2, and once again it never dissapoints.

I opted for something different from my usual (the excellent Chicken shashlik) and went for another special, the murgh xacuti. This was recommended b y the owner after i explained what I usually have, and he was extremely helpful.

All i can say is it was well worth the change. The chicken was succulent and well spiced and you could taste all of the ingredients individually as well as combining to a wonderful flavour.

I shall be working my way through the menu now i have moved outside of my usual orders!

A star take-away.

Contrary to what a previous reviewer commented, I disagree, as I’ve ordered from K2 in Wimbledon on numerous occasions over the last several years.

I found them to be very professional, food is always superb and a very speedy delivery service. I would definitely recommend.

Do not order from here! They said delivery would be up to 45mins, we phoned an hour later to be told the delivery man hadn't set off yet! Order arrived over 90mins late! We were starving and they didn't even offer a discount or free sundry!

So glad to hear that this place is still going after 20 years! food is superb as ever, service is polite and a new menu with a wide selection of options, we’ve moved back into the area after several years away and ordered recently, got a couple of bottles of cobra beer for free (which my husband was chuffed about) as they celebrated 20th anniversary.

I have been using K2 for over 10 years now and I can honestly say that it is the best curry in South West London bar none.

I have tried most things on the menu but now religiously order; Prawn Puree, Murgh Nilgri, Pilau Rice, Peshwari Naan

The food is always delivered piping hot, on time and perfectly cooked.

I can not recommend them highly enough, try for yourself - you will not be disappointed!!!

Recently a few journalist friends were over from Switzerland for the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament, they stayed in Southlands Drive in Wimbledon.

They were very impressed with K2 Indian takeaway and were practically ordering from them 3-4 nights a week. The service was very friendly and food tasted great, Lamb Xacutti and Chicken Phathia were the favourites. They asked me to pass on a big thank you to the staff at K2 for looking after them.

I cannot recommend this place enough! It is consistently delicious, polite service as always, however be aware the food is freshly cooked so sometimes you will have to wait for up to 45 minutes when they are busy, It is advisable to get your order in early. More than worth the wait though. Alison (South Wimbledon) regular since 1998.

I had a murgh nilgri with pilou rice, it was absolutely delicious! Slight delay with the delivery but the guy on the phone very politely said that they were extremely busy when I placed the order, but worth the wait, will definitely be ordering again.

Got a leaflet/menu through my door the other day,

Thought I'd give them a try and was pleasantly surprised.

Ordered a Vegetable Massala, pilou rice and plain nan with popadoms, mint sauce and mango chutney.

My order was taken quickly, efficiently and delivered on time, the food was very lovely, specially the mint sauce! Have since recommended K2 to all my friends to try.
