I went to Bibigo at Angel. I ordered spicy pork and squid. It was very disappointing. The taste was just spicy and dull and some of the food was carbonated. The portion was far too small. However the cocktail was good.

Good service and average food. Like the fact it hasn't been too modified for the British taste. Lunch menu for £9 was good value but ended up being very thirsty all afternoon- assume they go heavy on the MSG!

Worst restaurant experience in ages.

Food:I expected this new branch of Bibigo to be like the one in Soho and was extremely disappointed. The food can only be described as Korean-inspired at best: paejon was doughy like a Japanese pancake, fried chicken wasn't crispy enough and Kimchi stew had hardly any tofu. Clearly the kitchen staff haven't been trained to the same standard as the Soho branch.

Service: while I understand it was their first week, there were serious issues with the staff. Both the waitress and the manager spoke terrible English and they had hard time understanding my friend and me. For example, we asked the waitress what type of nut was in a dish, only for her to go away and come back to say "yes, there is nuts". It took us over 2 hours to finish a meal in what is really a Wagamama of Korean food.
