The food is excellent - really special. Service is friendly and if you go on a Friday or Saturday the place has a good, lively atmosphere. I like the red elephants on the walls.

Great food, great service. I eat or get takeaway from Cocum regularly - even though its not especially close by me its worth the trip. Dosais are great but my favourite is the chicken calicut

Pretty good food. Paper dosas nice and crunchy, crab curry was moreish and had a yummy peppery chicken curry. Don't let the lilac walls with lime green borders put you off.

Definatly the best South Indian Resturant in London.
Love their Dosa's its only second to what my mom would make at home or maybe I am a little biased.
South Indian dishes being lighter then its North Indian counterparts does not leave you with a burning feeling in your gut at the end of the meal.
The atmosphere is great and is resturant is located just 5 mts from the Raynes Park Station making it very accessible.
I've taken all my guests there and never have they ever disappointed.

Cocum is one of the most authentic Indian restaurants that we have been to in this country. The cuisine is delicious, the service superlative and the price is extremely reasonable. This restaurant would be a roaring success anywhere including India! I am sure it will receive continued patronage from discerning gastronomes.

South Indian cuisine is a lighter and more refreshing alternative to the normal popularised high street Indian offer. Cocum's Kerala menu offers some interesting dishes that are fresh in taste, light in texture and multi-layered with spices. We started off with the vegetarian and non-vegetarian starter which consisted of deep fried large chillies, fish and prawn cakes, potato dumplings, spicy lamb and chicken. This was enough for 6 people to share and at £8.95 each was excellent value. We had the Dosa pancake with Masala which was superb, sweet pancake with fried egg and fragrant saffron rice to accompany our meal. Main courses included an excellent lamb dish cooked with fennel, fish moolah, lamb birhianie, chicken cooked in curry sauce. We also tried the excellent dried vegetable dishes such as Beetroot with Coconut and Cabbage stir fried with carrot and coconut. With copious amount of Cobra and Kingfisher to wash down the meal, the bill came to £20 a head which we thought was excellent considering everyone was totally full and satisfied. A good find local restaurant and we will be back soon.
