Can only agree with other reviewers - really good food, very friendly service and pleasant atmosphere to eat in - none of your post-boozer byriani mob!
Not the most fashionable area to visit but that's one of the reasons we like it - we get to keep the secret to ourselves! DOH!!

We have been to almost every well know Indian restuarant in London but we keep going back to Cocum South. The service is excellent, the menu is well explained. The main chef really takes pride in his work, in this is noticed by the superb food served. I have nothing negative to say about this restuarant, and am happy to say that this is my wife's and my favorite restuarant. The prices are very reasonable for what you get.

We had on a number of occasions looked into the restaurant. The bright green railing and outside somehow almost always managed to put us off.
Once we tried Cocum, it quickly became our favourite curry house, superb vegetable dishes, and the currys are unique and mainly south indian dishes. Our favorites are the Dosa (stuffed crisp pancakes), Tandori Chicken and Nadan Kozi Curry. But everything we tried to date has been great.
