your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne
Bright eyed and bushy tailed Swedish waitress welcomes us on our arrival which was, sadly, the highlight of the evening. The food, though well cooked, came in portions likely to appeal to a size zero model and were over complicated, too many clashing flavours. In short the chef was simply trying too hard, and the price reflected that. As to the wine list, one would need an understanding bank manager to sample its delights, though the Chilean Viognier was excellent and came at a reasonable price.
Service was good, atmosphere mock Bohemian/champagne socialist, a little too BBC for my liking. It lacked passion, it needs a shake.
