This place really is atrocious. It pitches itself as being a level above your average delivery Pizza but in reality there is not much of a difference, certainly not enough to justify the overinflated prices.

I ordered my Pizza and was told it would take 45 minutes to arrive. One and a half hours and two more phone calls later I had a call from the delivery driver to say that the person on the phone had taken down the wrong address and wanted me to guide him to where I was. Twenty minutes later he then handed me a stone-cold, rubbery pizza and expected me to hand over almost £20 for it. I sent him back without paying and thought that the end of the matter.

A further forty minutes later there was another knock at my door with another driver and another pizza which he then tried to get me to pay another £20 for! Amazingly this was also stone-cold. I had already received my pizza from a rival delivery firm within that time. Leave these guys well alone, save your money and go somewhere else.

I love this place!

Best pizza I have ever tasted-most people dont know what real traditional pizza actually taste's like these days because of the disgusting stuff on the delivery and take-away market!

This is the real thing!

You will not be disappointed.....and so what if it's a little more expensive-Id much rather quality food-than to save a few pounds to eat fat!

The most overrated and overpriced pizza delivery I have ever had. £19 for a 13 inch pizza and garlic bread, and the driver seemed almost offended when I asked for change from £20!!!

Like other comments here, my pizza arrived promptly but almost cold. Base was rubbery and chewy. Almost devoid of toppings - in fact my pizza tasted and looked exactly like the garlic pizza bread with cheese I had also ordered. I had paid £2.30 for "extra" salami, of which there were about 4 pieces in total on the pizza. Save your cash.

Decided to try Basilico "Hampstead" which is in fact on Finchley Road. Ordered Quatro Fromaggi pizza 13 ", Potato and mozzorella salad and Tiramisu. Came to £21.

The delivery was in good time but the pizza was nearly cold. Instead of being crisp the base was tough and occassionally rubbery. It was cheesy enough and flavour was OK. The salad was covered in a sickly gloop that was entirely unnecessary given the cheese content. The Tiramisu was truly awful. It had the addition of raisins and the texture and mouth feel of three day old bread and butter pudding. Most peculiar and an experience I wont be repeating.

We decided to take the slightly "healthier" route last night and try some Basilico take-away pizza instead of the usual Dominoes. Big mistake. We asked if they could deliver - admittedly very lazy of us as it is only a 5 minute walk away - but we were told it would take 60 to 90 minutes to deliver. So we opted for the collection option. We ordered Chicken Ruspante and garlic pizza bread. The garlic pizza bread was burnt, it was impossible to eat as it was so rock hard, it hurt my jaw trying to chew it. Even worse though, our "chicken" pizza had fish on it. I thought I was imagining it at first when I tasted it, but second time round I knew I couldn't be wrong. Others sharing the pizza also found fish amongst the chicken on their slices too. I was horrified. We left most of it and fed it to our dogs, who loved it. Most expensive dog food ever at just under £20.

This pizza delivery place used to be the best in South West London. The pizza's unfortunately have become bland and overly chewy. The restaurant chain appears to have come through a cost cutting excercise badly and as a result the product leaves a lot to be desired. I would like to point out that the pizzas are of a very high standard when compared to other more well known brands or even supermarket bought pizza. There are much better delivered pizza in our area now.

They just do takeaway here so service and atmosphere ratings are based on a phone call and conversation with the delivery man.

Food is phenomenal! Phenomenal! A Zagat rated takeaway! Try the one with truffles.

This is all you need to know.
