I went expecting so good traditional Greek food but was let dow. It seems they are trying to be a little too alternative & different. The menu was scattered & unfrendly. If you only want to try something different then maybe its ok but if you are looking to impress someone & show them some good greek food - go elsewhere.

The portions are fine, the food is acceptable, but the service is terrible.

We had to ask for plates, cutlery and glasses to be provided after our food arrived and then had our salad plates taken away before we had finished. We made repeated attempts to attract the attention of staff but we were completely ignored. It was not busy at this time with fewer than half of the tables taken. I broached these issues with the person in charge, who blamed our waitress explaining that she was 'training

her up' and by way of further explanation that 'this was a kebab house'. When we did not accept her blaming her staff and said how we had heard her misdirecting her them, she said that she had 20 years experience in the business. She then said to her staff, within our earshot, that we should not be given further attention. We have enjoyed meals in 'kebab houses' including 'The Real Greek' in the past (we live around the corner). The menus make it clear that the owners consider that they are offering something better tan the rest, however our recent experience suggests quite the contrary. We do not feel that it is appropriate to denigrate the services offered by alternative 'kebab houses'. This seems to have become a place for work parties who do not know better, those interested in 'kebabs' could do better looking elsewhere.

This is a restaurant where everything comes with its own price tag. The chicken souvlaki was fine but plain - you have to buy any sauce or salad separately. Also they don't serve tomato ketchup (admittedly Ketchup is probably not 'real Greek') and instead ask you to buy a dry tomato dip. Needn't have worried about my ketchup habit though, as chips were literally too salty to eat anyway!

I went here recently with a group of 12 friends. If you're familiar with grassroots Greek food as I am, you will be disappointed by the size of the portions. While the food, especially slouvaki, gets closer to the real thing than many of the other Greek places I have been to, the fun of Greek eating is spoilt by the swanky upmarket format. I ordered grilled octopus and was horrified to get a tiny side plate with maybe a tablespoons worth on octopus on it. If you're a big eater, don't go here unless you have money to blow. Service on the night we went was also poor and the waitress chased us down to the last 50p of the bill, which included an optional 12.5% service charge. Optional, you hear!!!

On the plus side, it was a nice venue to get together with a big group. If the food was a bit less expensive it wouldn't feel so disappointing. The Greek flat bread is great though, I ate it in Greece and wasn't able to find it in the UK till I went here. They lose marks with me on the price and service.

Great-Six of us had a lovely evening picking and scoffing delicious little meze dishes. Loads of great flavours, the service was friendly and attentive and a nice atmosphere.

I recommend a visit.
