Nando's (Battersea)

Chickenland? I'm emigrating!

While looking through the A-Z for a plumber (blocked u-bend) I took a wrong turn and ended up in the R's... or more to the point - the restaurant section. That's when I saw it - Chickenland! Now I am a man of few needs but sometimes, guilty as charged, I need chicken. It's my favourite food bar none. I think I could live off of it (once when I was a student I did for 5 days straight. That's right - breakfast, lunch, and diner).

I work next to London Bridge and so decided to take a half day off from work and Go West.... Chicken is crispy there. Go West... Where people do not stare. Go West... They have many dips too. Go West... This is what we're gonna do.

Was it worth it? It sure as hell was. What a wonderful afternoon, spent in a wonderful restaurant, and eating wonderfully fried chicken. An added bonus and one which I wasn't expecting is - they do nuts too (Nando's nuts).

Would I go back? Probably not. There's a world of chicken restaurants and only one lifetime to find them.
