I visited planet hollywood July the 4th expecting to have a fantastic nigth with my close friends,I couldnt have been more wrong! The music was blasting and i couldnt hear the waitress.I felt like i was in more of a night club than a resteraunt! The seats felt mucky and were covered in endless bits of salotape covering the holes holes. The table was sticky and the atmosphere was very loud and dulI. I ordered sausage chips and baked beans. An hour later my food arrived.I coyuldt believe what the waitress put in front of me.Sausage, cold fries, onion gravy , runner beans and a glass of flat cola.I wated an hour 4 my icecream desert, expecting it to be an Icecream Sundae or something.instead itwas a small maetal dish with a scoop of vanilla icecream.what a waste of money. The waitress was very unhelpful and rude and could not understand what i was saying. My meal came to a shocking £12.50. I was extremely disappointed as it was my last nigt in london before returning home. Please listern to me and Never visit planet hollywood.!!

A number of years ago Planet Hollywood in London always had a que to get in, a great atmosphere, up to date movie costumes and props and decent American style food.

Having been there on Monday 25th June 2007 i can honestly say that my husband, 3 kids and I all felt it was nothing but a huge let down.

The decor is dated although there were people painting when we sat down but that is NOT great to see when you are there for 'An experiance'. The seats were ripped and taped up, the food was RUBBISH (the most polite word i can use on this site) and we will NEVER go back.

If you want a similar type of experiance go to the 'Hard Rock Cafe' and spend your well earned money on something actually worth seeing and eating.

Sort yourself out PH. To say we were all disappointed would be a real understatement.

Went to Planet Hollywood on 28th April 07 expecting a great place... What a massive let down!! The whole places looked like it needed a good clean!! everything looked mucky, the carpets where filthy, covered in old chips under tables, the table tops where thick plastic and looked horrid and mucky, the film memorabilia on the walls are behind dated plastic boxes that are all scratched, filthy and justed looked horrid !!! The whole place looks as if it needs a good refurbishment. The staff where very good and even when we asked to changed seats.. That was no problem, the burgers where average!!! Expensive & will not return.. no chance!!!

We ate at planet hollywood with our children aged 4 and 2 on 28th March 2007. We had never been before. We were seated in a booth which was lovely and comfortable and practical with two wriggly children. The children were given baloons, crayons and pictures and they were also greeted with a nice hello and a little chat! The staff were attentive and friendly. The milkshakes are amazing, like a desert really. The food came quickly and was delicious. We all had burgers, which is unusual as we dont normally eat them. I'll be going back for more.

Yes slightly overpriced, but a nice treat.

We liked the music too!

We took the kids to Planet Hollywood and they were so disappointed. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. Firstly the food was very poor, We had the VIP platter starter which was extraordinarily expensive, the plate it arrived on had old grease splatters on it , the blackened shrimp was tough and really tasted of stale oil , the nacho's were soft and left a film in your mouth and the rest was swimming in grease there was a small piece of dry gritty lettuce even though the starter was for 4, we just didn't want to eat it. I had battered fish next which was not a fillet like you would expect for the high price of it... even McDonalds fillets the fish, it had so many bones in it and the skin on, I didn't eat any of it because of all the tiny bones.

The whole place is shabby and dirty, rips in seats etc , there was a greasy plastic table cloth on the table and the whole thing was low quality, even the menu's were in awful false leather wallets, the waitress was unhelpful when we complained about the food and she spoke really loudly so as to embarass us when we tried to reason with her. She made it look as if it was our fault for ordering things we didn't like!

All in all, an expensive let down.

I went there during the week, and it was not my first visit, but one that I had not been to in a long time. I went with 3 friends, at night, hoping to munch on some good nachos and buffalo wings, with a few good drinks. Sadly that was not the case. We walked in, and the atmosphere was dead. There were lots of people there, yet the atmosphere seemed so dead. The Video DJ seemed to be so bored, shouting things in the microphone in a monotone voice that just brought the mood down! We wanted to sit in a booth, yet they said we needed 5 people to sit in a booth, so we lied and said 1 person was coming. If their really were 5 people in that booth, you'd probably have the most uncomfortable meal ever. The setting was actually horrifying. Torn up table cloth (laminated, giving a cheap effect) and really kiddy seats just wasn't what I pictured. Anyways, we were getting hungry and decided to order. We weren't too hungry, and just ordered starters, some buffalo wings and nachos (just what we wanted). The nachos came so poshly presented. Just 4 simple round nachos with a few toppings on each one. I was expecting a huge plate of traditional nachos smothered in toppings, much like Hard Rock cafe! The buffalo wings came swimming in oil, and with some celery and carrots (which were really not edible, and were curled up showing compete evidence that they were not fresh!). I wanted to try their cocktails, and so I firstly ordered a smoothie. It was disgusting. It seemed so thick yet tasted of water. I asked them for their strongest alcholic cocktail, which consisted of rum, vodka, gin, beer (the list goes on). The cocktail came and I couldn't even taste ANY alcohol (and believe me I do not drink much, only on some occasions, so I would have noticed whether it was strong or not).

In my opinion: Do not even bother. £50 for nachos, buffalo wings and a few drinks. Ugly setting. Bad food. This is one of those places where tourists only go once. (And most of their film memorabilia are replicas, I asked! If you notice, most signs have in VERY little small-print saying it is only a replica).

Hard Rock Cafe is by FAR a LOT better than this place!

Went early October, Party of 4 2 adults 2 teenage Daughters - Sat in a booth and we had a great time. Very attentive waiters, Made a big thing of my wifes birthday - ended with eight or so waiters singing happy birthday!!

Food may just be posh burger bar but I had one of the best steaks i have ever eaten. Cost about £25 each which I thought was reasonable for middle of London. Good atmosphere and not too in your face. Plenty of Film memorabilia to check out

went to Planet Hollywood on Saturday 18th November at 12midday. I wasnt expecting to enjoy it that years old daughter that we went. I have to say that i LOVED it! we had a good table on the raised horror bit and a lovey young waiter who was very attentive and seemed to appear at just the right moments. My husband and I had surf and turf which was beautifully cooked but totally overpriced. Iloved the atmosphere and the music wasnt too loud. Good time of day to go as service was very good. We would love to go again once we have won the lottery!!!
