We have been going to eat at paradise for the last few years. All the staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. The food is very good value. A must go to.

Dreadful service, poor food and management who couldn't care less when we mentioned that ours had not been a good experience. The rot comes from the top in this restaurant. Don't waste your time & money here.

I don't normally write reviews but we thought we would share our experience. New to the Belsize park area we decided to try curry paradise for a takeway, based on the good reviews and personal recommendation. When we arrived the restaurant was fairly busy but not full. We placed our order and our selections were based on their recommnedations. We started getting rather inpatient as we had been waiting for over 40 minutes (also X factor had just started), without being offered a drink. Admittedly the restaurant was now full. It had a nice atmosphere and we thought next time we'll eat in! How wrong we were! Both main dishes were very bland with little flavour, obviosuly not cooked from scratch, lacked depth and character. I had colonel ? special, and my partner had chicken bhuna. We also ordered a couple of side dishes, naan & rice, tarka dhal and mushroom bhaji (received aloo gobi) which were very sloppy. The dhal was like wallpaper paste! In summary £27 later possibly one of the worst curries I have had, and very average service. We won't be going back and will explore a suitable alternative.

Having recently moved to Hampstead, I was recommended to try out the Paradise restaurant on South End Rd, just opposite the heath, as it was Monday evening I didn't think I would need a booking, the place was packed, I was told by the waiter that a table would be available in about half an hour and that we could wait near the bar and have a drink or if we wished to come back later, they would call to let us know when the table would be ready. Twenty minutes later we got a call to say that the table was ready. We ordered a Chicken Chaat and a Prawn Puri for starters and for the mains a Korai King Prawns and a Shahi Chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. I love living in Hampstead, and having a restaurant like Paradise makes it even better.

This is my local, and would like to praise the faultless service I've always received from them. I think a good sign of this great restaurant is that they treat both regulars and new customers with similar respect. A great bonus is also that there is the open frontage which means that you can enjoy the great food open to the elements on a summer evening - a very rare thing in London. Visit as soon as you can!

My favourite local restaurant: the food is never less than delicious, the service friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere convivial. It represents the best value for money I've found anywhere in London too. Always a pleasure.

We went to the Paradise for the first time last Friday and were greeted by a charming member of staff who stated that there was a forty minute wait for a table for three. At this point we would of tried another restaurant but waiting patiently ahead of us was celebrity Masterchef winner Jayne Middlemiss. If the masterchef was prepared to wait we were too.
I was recommended the Cragoe Murg and it was really tasty . The Paradise has a great atmosphere and fanatasic food. Do make a reservation to avoid a long wait for a table.

I have eaten here several times and the food is generally very good. On my last visit recently the service was terrible. The waiter, an oldish man, leaned across me whilst I was eating my starter to place a knife next to my place and then asked me if I was finished when it was clear that I was still eating. They then proceeded to serve the main course even though there was no room on the table and we were not ready.
My other issue with this restaurant is that it is very popular with families with very young children who tend to be quite noisy.
