Welcome Restaurant

I am also a regular customer of Welcome restaurant (Belsize) establishment, having seen these reviews they can be concluded as valid but in my own experience since the very first day Welcome restaurant was open they provided a consistent good customer service in the restaurant with the food itself at top-notch standard at a reasonable price especially in such a prosperous area of London. But I personally have seen the changes Welcome restaurant has gone throuh and yes it has had its downfalls with food and service. But I have recently been back to the restaurant couple of days ago and gave it another shot just out of sympathy.

All i can say, they have brushed up on their disparities that previous customers had appointed. The Korean BBQ is a definite must try!!!

I have also only ordered delivery food; but would tend to agree that the complainant(s) below may well be of the "sweet and sour" variety. Unlike the last reviewer am not Chinese, but I have eaten in Hong Kong and Seoul, and the food at this restaurant is good at the price ... if only they would add hollow-heart vegetables to the menu too!

I don't know what tastes the previous reviewers have. Are they of the "fried rice and sweet and sour pork" type? This is an authentic Chinese restaurant where the food (as in its sister restaurant in North Finchley) is simply superb-if you order proper Chinese dishes. They havbe just installed "hot-pot/barbecue" tables. When we were there, the service was absolutely first class.AS someone Chinese (but no connection with the propritor) I recommend this restaurant.

I have only had takeway from this restaurant - it was virtually inedible. I don't know how they survive!
