I am yet to find a pad thai anywhere else in London has come anywhere close to the pad thai they make at this restaurant. Every time I go to anywhere new I am always disappointed.

It is full of flavour and you get a huge portion. I miss working next door to this place and find myself craving pad thai quite frequently!

The staff are very friendly and will always try to accomodate any size of party even in the busy lunch periods.

Value for money is also excellent.

Latymers serves some of the best Thai pub food I have tasted. Lunch is their forte, with generous portions across a range of dishes that will suit every taste. The pub itself is very average, with a contingent of 'regulars' whose life doesn't extend past propping up the bar 7 days a week. However, the staff are pleasant enough and very willing.

For a lunchtime feed, you can't go wrong.

I used to think that this was a pleasant little pub until i received what i can only describe as the worst customer service ive ever experienced. My friends and I were sitting down in the pub, with some of us having ordered food and or drink. The landlord after half an hour without warning asked my friends to leave without even giving them a warning for them to buy a drink. On two occasions i tried to reason with the landlord but he turned out to be the most rude obnoxious man ive come across and used his pathetic conversation skills to repeat the same sentence over and over again without letting me get in a word. Dont degrade yourself by giving this pub any of your money.

ps. im glad to see that another review here tells of a similar poor level service thus proving that these incidents are in no way isolated.

Tucked away at the back of the pub, this is a super restaurant for delicious Thai and good prices, I go there whenever I get the chance and have never once had unpleasant food or service. Highly recommended for a low key, yummy eating experience.
