been there a few times now, and we love it.

the food is very tasty, our favorite is the duck curry, but all our other choices were great as well.

And even better is the fact that the prices are very reasonable!

We are regulary customers there now!

I've been there many times and you can't beat this place for its tasty food. Ok, so the decor is not the greatest but so what, we go there for the food, and at those cheap prices, you can't beat it for value. Would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to have a nice Thai lunch or dinner at very reasonable prices.

We went for a meal here last night. We thought we were in for a treat having read the reviews on this site but sadly that was not the case.

The food was not very good and I'd certainly advise people to go elswhere for authentic Thai cuisine. The manager was rude and in my opinion the staff need a lesson in manners.

We will not be going back!

This friendly, family-run Thai restaurant is a great little place to eat. I have come here many, many times and will continue to do so.

The decor is not so great, admittedly, and is not the kind of place you would go to impress on a first date, but the food is fantastic, and has a real "home cooked" feel to it. I actually prefer this place to the Blue Elephant down the road, it's certainly much cheaper. If it's great Thai food at a reasonable price you want look no further.

Btw, try the Massaman curry, it's great!! I have ordered it in many other restaurants, but they were never a patch on the Massaman at Ta Krai!!

I went to this restaurant for a leaving do for a Thai friend and had the best Thai food I have eaten. I was thinking that this was possibly because they put on a special show for his leaving do, but thought I'd go back to double check. It was even better the second time. They have a good range of dishes, all of those that I tried are incredibly tasty.

The only draw back was slightly slow service, but nevertheless this seems to be an undiscovered gem of a restaurant (it even made me want to write this).

Good value for money too (less than £25pp), although I can't remember if i had a dessert or not.
