Ta Krai

I really like Ta Krai restaurant. I have found the food to be better and the service to be quicker than its more sumptous looking and much pricier counterparts. The food there is tasty and sometimes absolutely delicious - with a good selection. It is served hot and you do not usually have to wait long.I have been going there for about ten years.The wine is chilled and decent too. If you have a take-away you can sit and read their selction of mags at a table and eat prawn crackers while you wait. Very civilised.It won't break the bank either.

Ta Krai is a relatively grim looking restaurant close to the West Kensington tube station. I was reluctant to go in but then reading good reviews I decided to do it. I have already been there several times now and usually the experience is decent.

Realistically this is an average restaurant with good prices that sometimes manages to be better than average - the grilled chicken is very good. In my view, this place lacks the enlightening eating experience that would deserve such high ratings.
