River View

This is one of my favourite restaurants. Go there many times with my partner and friends.

Never disappoints! Great food, great service and a fab location! Highly recommend.

We had booked for our 40th anniversary with 45 guests in a function room. Perfectly for our big day with sunny blue sky and beautiful terrace setup, lots of space for our guests moved around. Friendly staff andl the owner well organized. Lots of feed back from friends and families, very enjoyable. Top class venue.

The River View is our favourite Chinese restaurant. We still go back there even though we have moved from Docklands. The owner Michael is lovely. Food is excellent (try the soft shelled crab). Location great with some nice riverside pubs nearby. Service good and well priced. Go for seafood and you cant go wrong.

A great place to have a romantic meal with a nice river wiew. I took my boyfriend for his birthday and we both had a great time.

Very friendly staff and EXCELLENT food..A good selection of seafood dishes.

Would recommend to all.

no review since 2006, why?! this place is the best Chinese in Wapping and Docklands by far. never had a bad meal there. we often take the kids for the usual (crispy duck, shredded beef, etc) but when my husband and i dine on our own we like the seafood dishes which a real notch above what you would expect. lovely prawns (szechuan or kung po, both delicious), lobster, sea bass. all very fresh and tasty.

sometimes the waitstaff can be a bit surly but most of the time they're fine. i would not hesitate to recommend River View, especially for a date cos the views are really lovely.
