The Gun

We were a group of 12 in the River Room and had a great time being well looked after with good food and wine.

Would recommend the Private Dining facilities and also commend the attention to detail from the team at The Gun.

I booked The Gun for one of our senior manager's leaving dinner and also based on recommendation. We were not disappointed.

We booked The River Room private dining area and we had our own waitress for the entire evening who was wonderful and very professional.

The views were amazing and the food was delicious. The room was wonderful and a great evening was had by all.

I would recommend The Gun for anyone who wants to have a great private dining experience.

Teriffic venue - smart, trendy yet refined with superb views across the river. The food was exceptional and the staff eager to please. Most definitely recommended.

We booked the River Room for a private party to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday. The staff could not have been more helpful in the organisation and running of the evening, and the room itself was the perfect setting for my Dad's surprise party. The food, from a slimmed down version of the Dinner menu, was full of seasonal flavours and produce, and the helpings were enormous. A couple of members of our group had particular dietary requirements which were accommodated. It was a truly memorable evening and we were so pleased to have chosen The Gun as the venue for this special occasion.

We hosted a work event at The Gun last night and it was great - we had a reserved space, and our own server on hand to keep glasses topped up, delicious food circulating, and the odd spillage dealt with quickly. It was a great evening - due largely to an excellent venue. Thanks to the team there!

Had dinner at The Gun last week and was impressed, as usual. There were 16 of us and The River Room was a fantastic setting, with wonderful views. This pub has it all: history, ambience, great food and and excellent service. Even when catering for larger numbers The Gun always rises to the occasion with a varied menu and attention to detail. Would definitely recommend.

Organised a corporate event for 50 people and had exclusive use of the front bar area, which was really well presented. Both food and service were excellent - will definitely book again for other events and also personally!

I'm torn between my conviction that you should always leave positive feedback where it's due & the very real worry that if I do, l'll never be able to get a reservation again! (hoho)

The River Room PDR is the perfect spot for a corporate or even a personal dinner - with great atmosphere from the 02 over the river & the superb food & flawless service (max 14 ppl).

Last night myself and 10 friends celebrated my birthday with a perfect meal and setting at The Gun. We booked the Riverview room which is splendid overlooking the river and the service and food that we had was excellent. All the arrangements made before hand by my wife were caried out to the letter and it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

I would strongly recommend this gastro pub as one of the best.
