well just been to Garlic and Shots....what a quirky little place. I have to say there is so much to see and the food was truly amazing. THE best fillet Ive had for a while and to think I nearly didnt go because of bad reviews...to those people, you obviously just didnt get it! thanks garlic and shots :)

Good value for money. Not much atmosphere on Saturday evening, maybe because there was only two tables occupied. Staff looked really miserable, didn't smile. 12.5% Service charge was added to bill (usually only 10%) and as we didn't leave the full 12.5% we were questioned why. Maybe this was so they could make improvements! Would not return or recommend.

the food here is at the wrong end of mediocre. The garlic bread was icy cold in its centre. The service was bad and, to be honest, the staff were downright rude. The wine was ok though. The high price you pay at this place is for the gimmick rather than the service or food. I will never eat there again.

Competely agree with Kirsty. Do not let one person's bad experience put you off this place. Fact is, you need a sense of humour and good taste in music to appreciate it and if you have neither then please, do everyone a favour and stay away. Food is excellent - truly delicious and unusual. Variety of shots is astounding and ambience is spot on. The staff are reflective of that - without trying to be crass, its called living the brand and its not done through corporate brainwashing. If you don't like the brand, go to Wagamama. For everyone else - soak it up and then head to Cro Bar for afters. I'll see you there!

a joke...the food is expensive and not very good quality. the staff is extremely rude and don't care to help you out. sadly, as this place has a cool decor etc.

anyway, more a trap than anything else.

Don't go there, you'd really hate it LOL.

Dont be put off by the gothic theme itself. This is the last place any self respecting vampire would eat ( or even go near ), given the amount of self basting garlic in all the food, that this great place has to offer.

The menu is varied, but with the common theme of garlic throughout. Why not mull over the menu, whilst having a garlic beer (delicious) or chomping on some of the best garlic bread I've ever eaten.

Yes the service is a little slow and understated but its worth the wait. They are friendly , but give you time to enjoy the venue and its food. They do not hurry you along like other venues.

To top it all the ice cream is erm rather unusual, with chocolate garlic gloves as a decoration. Im going again tonight.

In all honesty, in order to ensure I get a table ( Im sure that this will become a problem,) given the number of people that were in on my last visit I can only ask that you stay away, you really wouldnt like it.

One final bonus, is theres lots of fresh parsley on the table to douse the fumes. If you dont like parsley, I can guarantee a seat on the tube, when you go home, and you wont get hassled by busking or begging vampires.
