Santorini Taverna

I recently got married in Santorini and held our reception at the Atmosphere restaurant.I honestly couldn't fault the venue on anything!

The staff were very friendly and the food and drinks just kept coming!The value for money was amazing and the food itself was delicious.

The staff had decorated the seating area for us and our guests and layed out the tables perfectly.They even catered for our non-vegetable eating vegetarian!

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Me and my wife visited Santorini Taverna this week while staying in the area. The food itself was quite good - I had the Souvla and my wife the chicken shish kebab - no complaints there. And the avgolomeno soup starter was also very nice. The only problem seemed to be with the staff - the waitress spilled a drink over one guest and then accused her of knocking it over! And the "complimentary" pitta bread and olives later added to the bill was a devious touch. 12% service charge added to the bill isn't completely unreasonable - but 12% of 48 pounds is NOT 10.75!!! I don;t know whether this was deliberate or not. Elsewhere, the service seemed to worsen immediately when a group of businessmen, obviously friendly with the owner, arrived. Seeing the attentive service they received highlighted how poor the rest of us were dealt with. Overall, I can't really fault the food - it was very good. Unfortunately, I've had seen better customer service at McDonald's. at 59 pounds for two people (with no wine) it also seemed overpriced. One for the tin-skinned only!

Each time I go to this restaurant I have great food and great time. My favourite dishes are chiken with mushrooms and kleftiko. They have a good selection of wines too. I also like the fact that they never rush you and are happy to give you a long break between starters and main course.

This is not the Greek hospitality that the country is renowned for. Hasty service, irritated waitress and the complementary pita bread and olives were not quite so complementary, i.e. simply added to the bill- this place is a commercial tourist trap.

Food; spinach/cheese parcels and souvli (the left over pieces of lamb) were mediocre, the kleftico, in all fairness, was reasonably good

Went there last Friday night. The food was okay. What I did NOT like was the way the olives and pita bread that we did not ask for (there assumed complimentary) was added to our bill. What made it even more sneaky was that our bill was not even itemised, everything was dumped under 'mains

We went here by chance on Friday night and had the most fabuilous time. The food was outstanding, there were five of us and we all had different starters and main courses and they were all fantastic. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive but not intrusive, which we like. We will be going back very soon! I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone

it is one of my favourite!! as soon as i leave rome to come to britain, this is the first place where i think to eat when i arrive!! Santorini see you next january!!! ciao!

I dined at this restaurant on two occasions, Boy! let me tell you something the food was superbe, best Klefticon I have ever had, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was divine.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in London. The food is great and the waiters are friendly and helpful. If they would ban smoking, it would be perfect.
