what to say about this restaurant if I can still call it a restaurant. Avoid it and go anywhere else in this lovely area. Food is more than average and look like they didn't use premium ingredient. About the service? No, it wasn't any kind of service in this place. A total waste of time and money..

AVOID.....

Had a very good experience of this restaurant. Although they seemed to have lost my booking, they made every effort to honour it and we were seated all the same.

From this point on, the service and food were very good indeed and it was clear I'd made a good choice coming here.

I don't really think much of the atmosphere, however, since it felt like a jazzed-up conservatory upstairs and a very loud bar downstairs. While I appreciate the effort to keep the two separate, I still favour the venue that shows more consistency, rather than simply trying to cast a wide net and capture two markets. It just strikes me as a little desperate. But then I can perfectly understand that a restaurant is a business and they do need to make money. I could go on. In any case, it was nice enough.

No complaints about the bill either. With mains and desserts with a bottle of wine for around £40 in the shadow of London Bridge, I think one would be hard-pushed to find a better deal than that.

Went to Auberge last night to find it had been replaced with Azzuro. Whilst Auberge food was ok for what you paid for, I wouldn't have given a dog the food we ate last night! Service/ambience etc was fine (and I mean fine... just fine) the food was awful. Olives were out of a jar with no dressing. Pizza bread wasn't rolled thinly enough/wasn't cooked in a proper pizza oven so was soggy/soft underneath. My tuna main course was swimming in oil (not in a good way). It was actually an ok piece of fish so not sure why they covered it in tasteless sauce! My friend's chicken was covered in a jar of Ragu! It was definitely out of a jar... If I'd wanted dolmio night I'd have stayed at home and saved myself £50!

My Daughter and I came upon Azzurro last night and decided to give it a go. We were very pleased with the food, ambience and service. Would certainly go again.

I visited Auberge last week after work with colleagues and we all want to say a huge thank you to the staff for making this one of our best 'team experiences'!!!! We were just having few beers to welcome a member of staff back from maternity leave and it turned into quite a late night with a lot of laughs! The staff at Auberge were amazing, they gave us a big table downstairs with plenty of seating. The waiter was very attentive, taking drinks orders and recommending a food platter (very tasty!). Nothing was phenomenal or out of this world - but the comfortable surroundings and friendly staff were perfect for a spontaneous staff night out!

Thank you!! See you soon!
