This is a great place! The food is very good but not too expensive. The only complaint is their pad thai noodles. Tasted totally different from all the pad thai I've had. It was somehow sweet and sour... Is it called authentic??

I have eaten here a few times and I think the food is absolutely great. The atmosphere is pretty imtimate, so you can either go there on a date or with a few friends for a quiet meal. It looks small from the outside, but there is a basement level as well. (Very discreet). The service is excellent, the food is well presented and the prices are relatively cheap. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for some place to eat in the area.

This place is fantastic! Proper, FRESH, tasty Thai food at a very reasonable price. Its such good value I go there regularly for both dinner and take aways. Excellent choice on the menu; I love the phad thai and their cocunut rice is gorgeous! Go there!

We went to Suchard on a Saturday night. Service was fast and efficient, the food was excellent. The food arrived very quickly so we were in and out in 30-40 minutes, which was not a problem. Well recommended.

I have been in this restaurant several times over the last three years.
The atmosphere is more cafe than restaurant. No separate non-smoking area, which is a pain if the table next to you start chain-smoking when you are trying to enjoy your food. Unfortunately, this is a general problem with small size restaurants.
Service is usually efficient, less so on Friday nights. I would say stick to other days or go there early i.e. before 8pm.
The food is generally very good. I like the mussels for starter although they seem to have changed the sauce recently, not an improvement. The steamed dim sum are also good if overpriced.
The mains are a good selection of classic thai curries: red, green, massaman and stir frys. Good honest food nothing out of this world.
Prices are rather cheap.
I'd recommend this for an early dinner on the way back from work or before you hit the town

I have been disappointed several times at Suchard. The food is not always very fresh and once came out in under a minute. Pretty concerning...
Another time the sauce I got on my dish (Lime leaves and Chilli tofu) looked like tomato ketchup and tasted like a Chinese sweet and sour sauce. That wasn't Thai!
Service has improved.
