I really loved this restaurant. It is very clean, and the food is a pleasure both for the eye and the stomach! I was fascinated by a little rose made on my plate from a vegetable. It is obvious that the cook doesn't look at his/her work as a job, but as an art.
I definitely recommend this place. The prices are good too.

This is a lovely restaurant, a bit off the beaten track, but not much, and it makes for a more tranquil night out without the usual larger louts and noise that comes with...
The food and setting is fantastic, and this is coming from someone who loves Thai food and has visited Thailand. We were a party of 12 and all enjoyed the food, which says a lot! And it was excellent value - our bill was less than £15 each with wine and we all had starters. I think you can get takeaways now too...
The guy is also really lovely (I think he is called Nipon) and even ran out after we had left as my friend had forgotten her cigs! A true gent.
All I can say is you will not be disappointed - support the little local businesses!

We absolutely loved this restaurant when we ate there for the first time last night!
It's tucked away in a quiet location and has a very nice atmosphere with the Thai decor and music just right for a relaxing meal. And as for the cooking...it's fantastic! We would rate it as Thai cooking at its very best, with everything perfectly cooked and completely delicious. We had the prawns wrapped in pancake rolls (Goong hom Pah), the King and I (a variety of Thai starters), and for our main course, the breast of duck, and the sizzling beef (Neua Grata), flambeed at our table, with very nice side dishes.
The owner could not have been more friendly and helpful and the service was great, with everything presented just as it should be. The prices, even the wine, were very reasonable. There was absolutely nothing to fault and we are already looking forward to returning to try more of the dishes on the tempting menu.
We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who enjoys eating out!

I live next to the Thai Dream, and I'm lucky to do so! I must be Nippon the owners best customer. When friends come over and Im feeling lazy, I order from here. Everyone including my Thai friend agrees its damn fine food.
Highlights... the Tom Kha Gai is sumptuous (if you like a lot of lemongrass) The mussaman, the green curry, the phad thai, the peneang. All good.
There's a sizzling beef dish in the specials with a secret ingredient Nippon might let you in on. It's certainly my favourite. Can't wait to tick more of the delicacies off my list.

Went here last night with a good friend and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's off the beaten track and the frontage is unassuming, but once inside, the warm welcome by Nipon, and the great cooking by his sister and helpers in the kitchen, made it all worthwhile. Decor also unassuming, but ambience peaceful. Most importantly, the food lovely. We had fish cakes, giant prawns with red curry, broccoli and mange tout, rice, and nice chardonnay at a tenner a bottle. We'll be back for sure! The only reason I'm not giving 10 for everything is we're all imperfect in this life, but hopefuly aspire to it.

If you want to enjoy tasty Thai food in a pleasant relaxing atmosphere I strongly suggest you look further than on the main streets of London, as Thai Dream is off the beaten track, but what a find.
My fiancee and I will definately be returning to endulge in the great food on offer complimented by genuine and friendly customer service and will be taking our friends along also. The portions of food were just right and fairly priced so ENJOY.

I really love this restaurant. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is really good: there's nice music, but played only softly, so even in a larger group you can understand everybody. It's a fairly small place so there are also no loud voices from other visitors. It's in a quiet small street and not too easy to find, but it's definitely worth looking for it.
The restaurant changed hands a few times in the last two years or so, and the quality was down for a while, but since the most recent change of ownership, the quality is as good - or better - than it was originally.

I live around the corner from this hidden gem...it was formerly Siam River Thai and has recently opened as Thai Dream after a refurbishment...
As soon as you walk in you know uve come to the right place for authentic thai food mirrored by the aroma, decor and romantic thai music ;)...the food was really good...
This place isnt busy at all mainly due to its location..so the service was great (we were the only ones there)...
give it a chance...highly recommended...my date really enjoyed it bcos she thought the waiter was cute!

This place was taken by a new owner and reopened with the name of Siam River Thai. The decor is definetly better than before, the staff is friendly and the food has this nice, homey, comfy taste.
