This has been my local Indian restaurant for three years - as the other reviewers have said it's nothing flash, but the service and food have been consistently excellent.
Skinners Arms next door is a friendly local pub with outdoor tables in summer.

I've been going to Humaira for about 12 years and the food is of a consistently high standard. This is the first place we head for when we've been away on holiday. My husband and I have been through the menu and it's all delicious. The staff are polite and attentive without being intrusive. It's a good old fashioned restaurant. We've been here with groups of friends and with work colleagues of all ages and they've all wanted to pay a return visit. The prices are very reasonable; the Saturday evening buffet is particularly good value. Eat as much as you like for about £6-7. Usually includes 2 meat and 2 veg curries plus tandoori chicken, naan bread, poppadoms, bhajis, pakora, raita and dhal.

Hello
We've used the Humaira regularly over the last five years or so. It's handy that it's right next door to the Skinners Arms pub! The food is good honest Indian,a bit like the restaurant. No pretentions here. I don't think it'll do brilliantly with awards but the service is attentive and the prices very reasonable. Remember those times you noticed that the lager was cheaper in the Indian than in the pub? That's the Humaira. Only quibble is that you're charged for the chutneys etc with the poppodums.... However, recommended.
