Went in here for a light snack on our way to the station and wish we had never bothered.

We sat outside and I ordered a cream tea while hubby ordered a piece of cake. My teapot arrived with a jug of milk and no sugar then three (why three) halves of scone that wasnt very fresh, a huge dish with half a jar of jam and a huge dish with cream exept it wasnt it cream was butter (well cheap marg). I pointed this out to the eastern european waitress who kept saying its cream while I reply is not cream is butter....oh dear, anyway hubbys cake arrived with cream so I did another butter /cream display with waitress who eventually pouted and said sorry and flounced off. Terrible stuff

The club sandwich I had was made from the heels of bread loaves, both white and brown, and the so-called pastrami was mostly gristle, with slices of tasteless white or off-white stuff meant to be cheese or turkey, who knows. It was the worst I have ever been served. The wine was vile and undrinkable, like paint-thinner or acid, I could feel it burning my insides so I left it on the table. I will never go there again.

Avoid this awful place. There are much better ones nearby.

This is not an exaggeration, worst "meal" i've ever eaten in my life. The turkey in my sandwich was vile and was pretty much all mushy, jelly like fat. The coke was clearly not coke but some cheap own brand cola. My girlfriend's dinner was burnt to a crisp. This place should be shut down, any positive reviews on here can only be from employee's attempting to salvage some pride.

I went to this restaurant with my mother and three children, We were immediately made unwelcome. They were unfriendly hurrying us along to order and rolling eyes.

They added 10% to the end of the bill and also if you paid by cheque or credit card they would add another £10 to the bill. DO NOT GO
