Yialousa Greek Taverna

Our starters of homous and taramasalata were straight out of tin - not worth the money. But the main courses were a disaster- we had meat mousaka and a vegetarian mousaka. Both appeared with what looked like a omelete perched atop! But there was no taste in the meat one - the vegetarian one was even worse - lumps of frozen vegetables and no flavour. If a Greek restaurant can't get mousaka right then maybe you should go elsewhere. My wife couldn't eat her portion - the manager didn't even ask if anything was wrong when he collected the full plate. There are plenty of good eateries in this area - do yourself a favour and give this one a miss !!!

Very poor place. Went here last night - the food was not fresh and although it is very cheap it still isn't worth the money. I was sure the vegetables were out of a tin and generally the food was very bland. I refused to pay the optional service charge and the waiter got very argumentative. My advice... go somewhere else, there isn't anything to recommend about this place.

Food is great. Pity that the owner/head waiter tried to take advantage of us.
Maybe cause we were foreigners.
He brought us pitta bread on his own accord (twice) and then charged us for us.
He had already tried to add a grrek salad without us ordering it.
Again, food was great...service? well not that exciting.
