The service of this restaurant is extremely unprofessional. Me and my friend was guided to sit down on a slight large table, and while we were looking at the menu and about to order, the manager came to us and told us to share our table with 3 strangers, and of course, we said NO, like what you would normally do in any Restsurant, however, this female manager said very loudly to us " You HAVE to share, otherwise I will give this table to them". I really don't expect that kind of treatment from any restaurant or staff in London or anywhere, this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in any restaurant.

Started off pretty pleasant, first impressions feel like a genuine Korean run restaurant with proper barbecue equipment. We came here for a slightly less meaty affair and the menu variety caters well to that. I am personally pretty familiar with Korean menus and I can say the choices are really good and proper.
We happily ordered but when the food arrived we were quite surprised by the size of the portions. The hot bibimbab was of a good size, but the soup dish was rather small, and the chap chae fried noodles was basically a starter size for £7.50. We raised our concerns with the waiters and they kindly explained, we decided to accept it and just carried on eating. Quality in general is decent but the chap chae continues to disappoint - the glass noodles were overcooked and stuck together, albeit sitting in a pool of oil, obviously done to alleviate the noodles sticking.
I most probably won't be coming back. There are cheaper and better choices not far round the back of centre point and if you want to splurge a bit Koba on rathbone place does a fine job.

BAD value for money. This restaurant charges you for plain salad leaves and bits of garlic. The size of the portions is tiny. We used to go there regularly. Not any more. Disappointing! A tourist trap!

I found this restaurant by chance when a few friends came to London for a visit a few years ago. We were looking for a warm meal without having to sell any body parts to have to pay for it and this place did the trick! Back then the set menu was around £6 which is very good for the West End. I think the menus are now between £7.50 and £8.50 which is great for salad, soup, main course with rice and fruit for dessert. I have taken there all my friends and family when they come to visit and everyone loves the place.
Regarding the staff, well, they greet you when you come in, they serve your food warm and drinks cold, they give you the right change and say good bye when you leave which is more than you get in most restaurants paying double the money for half the food. Do not expect a party with 'mariachis' just plain service but at the end of the day you go there to enjoy the company you bring not the staff.
I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, I am going there tomorrow with a few friends and we shall enjoy our dinner very much.
