We went there as a last minute attempt at dinner out - it is really popular so you will have to book in advance. Food was so good that we often pop in for take aways! Highly recommended although they don't have a liquor licence so take your own.

I love the laid back atmosphere and the fact that you can drop in with a group of friends and make an evening of it, never being rushed or fussed over. The food is really good, and the atmoshpere in my opinion is what you make it. Not the sort of place for a couple to go but for a group it was brilliant.

As an Ex Ex-Pat back from Thailand for only a few months I credit myself with an idea about the difference between the soupy, firey Thai cuisine and the overly sickly cream that passes for such over here. I have to say Amaranth is the nearest yet I have been to being zapped back to the balmy streets of Sukhumvit (this time without the smell of sewage). Aroi mak!

How can people quibble . This place is honest. It does not pretend to be other than it is, it delivers. So it's a little cramped. Noisy. You have to wait a little. The point is it's authentic and good and relatively cheap. The food is top end Thai and fresh as you like. For bells and whistles go else where. For rock solid, decent thai grub, this is where it's at.
