I read the reviews here before going to the restaurant last night and was therefore rather apprehsive. In fact, the service and food were excellent. They could not have been friendlier. It just didn't feel like the same restaurant as other customers have described. We would go back.

Me and my family have been going there since early 2000, we've never been dissapointed, and the service was always on time and still is. The staff are very nice, so nice that when we go on holiday we give them a little something from our trip.

It's the best curry ever.

I have always been to this resteraunt over the last three years, but we tend to go on week days. The Food is great, and the service has always been ok.

The other week I went ther with some friends on a Busier day, the service was one of the worst I have received. They try and get three seating out of every table, where most other places, give you 7 - 9 or 9 - 11.

This is just greedy, I felt hurried, and hence did not enjoy my meal either, will not be returning in a hurry.

I took my girlfriend here on Tuesday night hoping to treat her to a good curry. Unfortunately we were both really disappointed. We had been here twice before and the food was quite good (even though on both occasions they tried to overcharge us on the bill) but this time the service bordered on rude and the food was only of average standard (not worth the fairly high price). They also took an extra 20 minutes to get us a table ready despite the fact that we booked in advance. I would recommend avoiding this place they don’t deserve your hard earned cash.

Give Babur in Brockley / Honor Oak a go because it leaves these guys eating it’s dust.

Rude & Rubbish Service Don't Go Here!

I booked a table here last night and arrived dead on time only to be told that we would have to wait another 15 minutes. We went away for a drink and left it 25 just to be sure. Unfortunately when we returned we were told we'd need to wait another 15 minutes. Well we ended up going elsewhere because we were too starving by this point. The staff were rude and clearly don't know how to take table bookings. I would not recommend going here.

13 October, 2009 - Likes it - I discovered Tandoori nights a few months ago and am very impressed. It is a little more expensive than an average Indian and worlds better in terms of quality. I find that most Indian restaurants are pretty similar, they are fast food. This place is most definately not that, it is obvious that a lot of care and attention has gone into the dishes and ingredients. I have been to Indian restaurants such as Chutney Mary's in Chelsea which is twice the price and not better.

The place has the feel of a family run business and staff are very friendly and helpful. I hope this is helpful and if you go I am sure that you will not be disappointed.
