Hamburger Union (Garrick St)

This is probably the worst of the 'Premium Burger' chains in London. There are at least five others: The Ultimate Burger, Fine Burger Co, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, The Burger Room & Grill and American Burger come immediately to mind. The quality of the food here is average compared to the competition. The service - both at the till and bringing food to the table - couldn't be bothered. Generally it doesn't give value for money. Shakes lack both flavour and thickness. The fries arrived luke warm - or warmed over. To top it off for the 50p to £1 you pay for extras on your burger such as beetroot or gherkins you only a couple of slices. (When I asked for more than three slices of gherkin I was told no.) I won't be back, the competition are all better in every way.
