Buffet Tai

Now there are two listings for Buffet Tai in Great Chapel St on this website but they must be referring to the same place as there is only one in that street, pretty sure.

Anyway, the Tai Buffet used to be a great place to eat, a year ago or so you got great vegetarian food that would have impressed a non veggie, and that for 5 quid all you can eat. Now it is 6 quid which would still be a very fair value if the old quality was still there, but now the food is often old and with a fridge taste in it. I visited both the Great Chapel Street and the Euston Road branches of the Tai Buffet in the recent past, and it was the same both places. Some dishes tasted so old that I had considerable doubts about its suitability for consumption. I had a bad feeling in my stomach afterwards, and this never happened to me once during all my travelling in East Asia!

To add insult to injury, part of the change I received after payment was in Chinese currency.
