This little restaurant is tucked away and is near palmers green station, turn right and cross the first road and then there it is on your left.

Very nice place and excellent homemade tasting food, i dont know exactly about persian food but i have tried arabicmiddle eastern food in Bangkok, Thailand.

We had the aubergine starter and fresh made bread in front of my eyes no less it was made, one hot bread was only £1 amazing,

I had the no 43 which i got challenged to eat , it was delicious and the leg of lamb portion was massive, my lady freind had a kind of soup but was eyeing up my lamb.

Lovely food and u can usually walk up and just get a table, excellent value for money homey style restaurant , brilliant, Highly recomended and the service was A1

Check it out as its a hidden gem and much better food than some of these fancy pants resturants in central they can often be a rip off and expensive followed but crap service

plenty of parking but no dessert menu small glitch highly recomended

What a fantastic restaurant. You must go to this restaurant if you are in the area. Family run with fantastic home made food. We came from Suffolk to the restaurant with my family for my sisters birthday and will be definitely put in my list for favourite places to eat.

A superb meal served by a delightful waiter. You know this is the real thing when you walk in early in the evening and the Iranian family who run it are all sitting around finishing their meal.

I can only hope it was half as good as ours. We started with the mixed starters for four and it was clear that they were all freshly made from the best ingredients. Go for anything with aubergine in the description - they were all delicious. Then three of us had variations on traditional lamb stew with rice and the other had a delicious cod dish. Again, the freshed possible ingredients and not a jar or packet in sight.

One tiny, tiny criticism. The house red was awful. It won't stop us going back but please get some nicer wine in. We'll be back soon!

I am a professional belly dancer and on saturday performed for the owner's daughters 'Hen Party'. Apart from a wonderful dance space, clean wooden floor and sleek decor, the food was outstanding!! I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants good value for money and a warm friendly atmosphere.

My fiance and I visit Deeyar regularly. We have become very attached to the great food, great service, great atmosphere and also the nice owners who always have a friendly word to say. We have also noticed that over the last few months some good improvements have been made. There used to be live music every Saturday night- but it's now on when people request private parties (which is nice if you just want to go for a quiet meal on a Saturday night). The new dessert menu is varied without being overwhelming. THE BEST NEW FEATURE IS THE FRESHLY SQUEEZED JUICE- My favourite is carrot- my fiance loves the orange as it's a creamy texture with pulp. The bread as ever is outstanding!

The Restaurant was recomended to me by a friend and I must say, I was really glad that I went. The service was great, friendly yet professional, the food was really home-made and it tasted good. The surrounding was warm. I will definately go there again and recomend it 100%.

I been visiting deeyar since jan-05, I been taken by the taste of home made stews ,starters and fresh Tafton nan .

Real value for such good quality food and friendly service. Now with live music on saturday's I think it is the best place to be.
