I arrived at Pizza Pomodoro with two friends and were greeted to a wall of outdated 60's / 70's snapshops of "celebs" standing with the owner of the establishment. We were promptly seated at our table and informed ...sorry..no, told in a stern voice by the manager that we only have two hours to eat. Ok, fine. 2 hrs is ok, but he couldve told us nicely. Anyway, we sat down and began to look at the menu, to be asked..sorry no... told to move as we were seated at the "wrong table" the waitress who seated us, found this highly amusing. She should get out more often. We then decided to order starters. It came. We then chose our mains. Mine was to be an Americano. The Manager came over, asked..told..no sorry..yelled at us saying we were taking our time and to order right now and that we should not even think for one minute we would have the table over our allocated time. We informed the manager we woul be leaving there and then to which he replied good. So in essence, the service was awful, the food ..starters were sort of ok, the place is a bit cramped and ...as for why there are no celeb pics from 90's onwards...probably because it hasnt been a cool place to eat for the last 40 odd years. They really need to sort themselves out. I get better service as a service station. The Manager needs something for guy PMT and the waitress needs waitress school GCSE.

I went there on the weekend. I am Italian, I can recognize if something is genuine italian or not, and I can say that at "Ciro's Pizza Pomodoro" I had the WORST experience ever!

Food was awful.

Pizza was the same quality of the frozen pizza with "plastic" cheese that you can buy in every cornershop in London. The appetizer "The Italian Job" was served with Chorizo (or for sure is not an Italian cured meat, and trust me that I can recognize Italian cured meat) and some cheese (mozzarella and Emmental).

I believe that the food is not worth £10, plus the venue is very noisy and you cannot enjoy the dinner if your intention is to have a chat with your dinner mates.
