Take Two

Ever since I visited the take two in Brixton I was hooked. The food is amazing. It's jut like the food back in Jamaica. I always order the jerk chicken with dumplings because it tastes absolutely magnificent. The price is also extremely reasonable in comparison to the mainstream fast food restaurants as well as its other Caribbean cuisine competitors. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Last week, we visited Take Two in Brixton Arcade.WOW!!! Take Two's Food was a-b-s-o-l-u-t-l-y MAGNIFICENT!! We ordered three dishes; Baked Fish stuffed with Ockra, crackers, bammy and vegetable, Jerk Chicken with rice and peas & Currried Goat with white rice. The service was spectular, the staff very courteous and friendly. We will definitely return to Take Two soon with friends and family. Will reccommend Take Two as the NO.1 CARRIBEAN FOOD SHOP IN THE U.K.

Went to the Take Two branch in Streatham with people from work last year December, many non Caribbea people. Firstly, three quaters of things on menu werent available. Service was poor. We waited ages to get our meals, then was told after waiting that long, that some of the things ordered were finish. So another long waiting period. When we tackled the proprietors on their sloppiness, we were told that they were night club owners venturing into restaurants , so we should give them some consideration. How unprofessional. I understand why they closed down eventually.

After a hard days work i went to take two in Croydon and ordered mutton rice and peas it was the worst carribean food i ever tasted if you like BAD food this is the place for u if you like GOOD carribean food go to Destiny's in streatham or Mr Jerk in west london or refil in south norwood there fried chicken is the best.

thefood attake two is nasty the patties aresalty and the ood is stail. i will never ever eat from there again as long as i live i wonder why the restaurant in streatham had closed down causedestinys the other carribean shop was taking over.
