The look from outside and the review were suggesting me to expect a very stylish review with great attention to details..

I also expected a jazz venue to have lots of table and seats, I expected an arena!!!!..a bit like a comedy club venue: i think jazz is best enjoyed if sitting comfortable maybe while eating a meal with a romantic meal..

Instead I walked in a very rustic venue.. just two big tables far away from the stage and two little high tables pushed onto the wall on the side of the stage..

The toilets are so badly decorated, the bars very uncomfortable to stand by..

With all the money coming in from gigs they could do a lot better..

The most disgusting toilets I've experienced outside of China.

Had very good experience here. Had great view of stage, band (los lobos) were fantastic, service was very good- very friendly, although maybe a little rushed at beginning. Atmosphere was great - but I suppose this will depend on the band/performer. The surprise was the quality of the food. I've eaten at many 'jazz clubs' in London and the food is usually average at best. Our meals were spot-on, as was the wine (from the short list). Limited menu and wine list but everything was cooked well, presented well, with even a bit of a flourish. I would recommend to reserve a table with a good view and choose a great live band!!

1. Toilets totally prehistoric... water on floor.. outside the main building.. puddles... no hand drier... water just about working... gross.. trousers getting wet in P*ss water... didn't know whether to hold my trousers off the floor or try and squat without touching the seat... Felt like I was going to catch some ungodly disease!!

2. Rice was luke warm

3. Had to pay £4 service charge... who said I wanted to pay that.. had already paid for the meal, and entry fee

4. Sound guy needs shooting.. 2nd time at the venue and you can only hear the instruments not vocals.. didn't hear the little guy, was like he was miming

5. Main act on at 9, off at 10, back for 15 mins encore... didn't pay £29.50 for that... double price of last show... half the duration!!!

6. Band sang a few of their songs in the 1.15 performance, didn't think they had time to be singing Marvin Gaye, sing your own songs that what I came to see

7. Tickets promoted show was until 11pm, I was at home in bed at that time watching Corrie repeat!!

8. I'm sure something else will come to mind...
