we had our work christmas dinner here last week and it was fantastic! the food was really good (especially since there were 15 of us), the staff were all very helpful and friendly and there was a live band later on in the evening. Fabulous place that i would go back to again.

I had my 30th Birthday party at Made in Brazil and I couldn't have hoped for a better venue!
Renato the manager was extremely helpful and helped me with the decorations, the balloons (he event brought me a helium canister and ribbons) and all the guys generally were very accommodating with all my requests. The kitchen staff were very helpful with the cake and we had the entire venue to ourselves playing our own music.
Everyone had a great time, the atmosphere was very cozy and relaxing and very welcoming.
Would recommend that to anyone who'd like to have a private event. The food and cocktails were amazing too but I didn't have the chance to dine there properly upstairs or see any live gigs so I can't commend on those.

What a great B-day party I have had in made in Brasil...!!!
Started with delicious dinner with my friends in downstairs Copacabana beach bar that had a live Brazilian band playing all night long.... ended up drinking all the flavoured caipirinhas and dancing in the upstairs bar where they had a Dj playing til late. Great time!
I would definitely recommend this place for everybody as the food and drinks were great and service was very friendly....
I felt like i was having carnival party Bday night!
It became one of my favourite places to go to for sure....

okay to start with, our problem with this place was not the food... the food was 9/10.
the haloumi was amazing and the grilled chicken was perfect. my partner had the ribeye which was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the sauces and vegetables that accompanied them were beautiful.
the service however, was pitiful. absolutely dreadful. 1/10, if that!
first of all we came in and were seated straight away which was fine. we sat and waited for about 10 minutes but no one came and asked us if we would like to order some drinks. in the end my partner went to the bar to order. 15 minutes later the drinks had not arrived and no one had come to take our food order. was the restaurant busy? no. that wouldn't have been an excuse anyway. eventually our drinks came and we caught the attention of a waitress so we could order food. she was nice enough. at the same time we ordered more drinks. another 15 minutes later and our glasses were empty and our drinks still hadn't arrived, neither had our entrees. my partner went to the bar to ask where our drinks were. 5 minutes later they finally arrived. 5 minutes after that our entrees arrived and they were lovely.
after taking away our entrees, we ordered more drinks, which came pretty quickly, i guess to save more complaining from my partner, but the main courses took AGES to arrive. the restaurant was starting to fill up by now and there were many waiters and waitress wandering around, but did any of them care about us? no.
the mains were delicious and we were really happy with the food....until the bill came. the "optional" 12.5% service charge was already added to our bill which was an extra 8 pounds!!! we would have tipped but the cheek of that made us get them to take the extra charge off the bill. the waitress said "yes that is the service charge for this restaurant". EXCUSE ME!!! the diner chooses how much they believe the staff should get in tips, not the establishment!
when we got home we also realised we were cheated out of our happy hour drinks so yeah, goes without saying we are very unhappy and will never be going back there!

Interesting reviews!
i heard this was a good restaurant by somebody who raved over the cocktails
and now reading between the lines in the various reviews below, it sounds like they really prefer you to get a bit merry on the alcohol first and that the food and hospitality takes second place. How dare they charge full price for drinks when ordered in the Happy Hour? How dare they say the service charge is optional and then include it in the bill anyway?
I feel that this sounds like yet another 'theme' restaurant that isnt actually that authentic.
i agree with the reviewer who said there are so many other better and cheaper restaunts in the Camden area that i wont be booking a table there afterall.
