Beloved Blushes Site has gone OMG. Sold in 2009 according to the manager Maric ,What a shame its had its soul ripped out but another Chain Patisserie with synthetic cream cakes. A blend of Edgware Road Arabic rather than Italian, Chelsea flower show week and we always go to Blushes its a way of life, or was in Chelsea. We wanted to sit at the front but the space was designated to cake display. The staff were miserable and unfriendly and stressed they could not understand plain English & the manager was no better. The food was slow, bland, warm and very expensive. we will never go back. Get your act together you'll not last as long as the other place.
So the reviews below have nothing to do with the old owners i think. Cant think why the page is still here

As someone who has grown up and lived in London for nearly 30 years, I've had the good fortune to eat in many of the great restaurants the city has to offer. Blushes is most definitely not one of them, unless of course you have an abiding desire to wait all afternoon for an overpriced lunch served by uninterested disingenuous staff and to be left with a salty taste in the mouth that you would normally associate more closely with a night on the tequilas than a spot of afternoon lunch in trendy Sloane Square. The toilets were in a worse state than my local Wetherspoons and frankly the food was worse than the microwave fayre served by everyone's favourite pub chain. I had the pesto chicken pasta, which I'm told had some pesto and chicken in, but which were barely detectable underneath half the saline content of the Dead Sea. Which was just what I wanted having waited nigh on 45 minutes - good work Blushes.
My mother ordered the Chicken Caesar salad from the specials menu only for us to be told upon asking for the bill that we had not explicitly requested the specials version of the Caesar and instead were to be charged more for the A la Carte rendition. Normally I'd be annoyed that this hadn't been pointed out when the Omid Djalili lookalike manager took our order, but I was must have been distracted by the hallucinations brought on by eating 2000% of the average man's RDA of salt.
I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised that the bill had a mandatory 12.5% added on - after all salt doesn't come cheaply and most certainly doesn't pay for itself - but I would, after such exemplary service and impeccable food, have genuinely appreciated being able to give a 20% tip and the keys to my house. In summary if you love salt and things that taste like rubbish, I would advise drinking from the Thames foremost, but if you want to stay dry Blushes provides an ideal alternative. If you want to be shafted by a large bald man, then Soho on a Friday night is probably your best bet, but if it's the middle of the day head down to Sloane Square for a local treasure. Just remember to take a bottle of Jose Cuervo, some lemon and an Amex Black card with you.

Its been sold. Its gone down hill and looks like its not looked after. The manager blamed the new owners. The food was okay, the service poor. The Italian Manager was very unconcerned saying we are closing soon and Blushes will go for good. I cant belieave this iconic place is going we have grown up here such a shame the owner had to sell RIP Blushes. Hope you open up again.

Went there last night with 3 friends. We really liked it, good food, very reasonable prices for the area, nice decor and helpful staff.

We visited Blushes early in the evening - on a cold wet night. It looked attractive from the outside. We ordered a starter to share - at approx £8 and then 2 main courses. The service was reasaonably quick.
The starter - Fried Calamari with tomato salsa - came with a handful of green assorted lettuce and less than a handful of calamari - 7 pieces to be precise - over a £1 a piece.
The manager was less than useful - but finally did agree to bring some more- a further 5 pieces.
Very average - almost certainly ready battered frozen calamari with a bottled salsa.
The main courses were of reasonable size but the quality of the pasta dishes fell far short of the £13 /£14 cost per dish.
A remarkably overpriced and under quality restaurant with an inept manager who just blamed the owner. Owner - sort your prices out.
No wonder no one else was eating!

We visited Blushes on Sat 5/12, just before midday, looking forward to a lunch for two. The place was only quarter-full, of late breakfast customers presumably, so we did not expect to wait too long. How wrong we were......After waiting too long to be handed menu's and offered drinks, we opted for a couple of burgers. 35 mins after ordering, we paid for our drinks and left. 20 mins into our wait the clues of a chaotic kitchen were there when we saw one of the waiters return two meals to the kitchen and heard him explain that the customers had left after waiting too long. We followed soon after.
Sort your kitchen staffing out Blushes, or you will soon lose more customers.

I went with my girlfriend to Blushes and found the whole experience very poor. Our orders were taken incorrectly so my smoothie ended up as a milkshake, the food was overpriced (how can an omelette cost £13??) and my soup which I ordered didn't come with bread (unless I paid extra) and was cold all for a "bargain" price of £7. Wish I'd gone to Pret. The food would have been better as would the service.

Lunch was terrific after walking out of a local restaurant in the square we found Blushes. friendly helpful and nothing was too much trouble, even half portions for the children was or seemed to be normal practice. we loved it, no more pretentious Italian for us. Thank you for making us so welcome and so comfortable Blushes.

Fantastic night out, Great Music, Great Food, Fast Service and with a smile from Amanda, Cocktails are proberbly the best we have had in chelsea for years, made by a manager called Chelsea. Best ever risotto, the burgers true to reputation topped with caramalised onions and special requested goats cheese. we also had a seafood pasta and a chicken club sandwich.
No complaints blushes are totally switched on, you cannot please everyone so keep on shaking those cocktails and comps to the chefs.
