You have to have the full breakfast of bacon, sausages, hash browns, clotted cream and maple syrup. It's just not so good for your heart but your tummy is delighted. Service is efficient. It is a typical Chelsea crowd and you are crammed in.

My only beef with the place is that it does get quite hot in there though that may be the amount of food I'm eating as well. You literally stagger out under the weight of eggs and bacon. But it's the ultimate hangover cure even if your cholesterol has gone up a few notches.

Since I moved away from Chelsea last year, it's the one place I miss. Not hugely friendly but the food does set you back up on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

I am not sure what people expect for the price you pay for this place but I certainly do think its good value for money especially with this restaurant being within the vicinity of many over priced restaurants on the King Road.

Ample servings on huge plates. Clotted cream served with scrumptious belgian waffles/pancakes and hearty hashbrowns/french toast/sausages/bacon..the list goes on. The omelettes and eggs benedict are served in impressive portions too with fresh orange juice (you can ask for no ice).

Not the most upmarket place but its unique on the king road being a nice cosy, affordable place to have comforting brunch.

Impossible to believe that so many people rate this place - obviously not one of them has ever visited a standard old school 'caff' or even eaten at an average restaurant, any of which will guarantee a fresher breakfast, be more economical and provide warm service. The breakfast is comparable at best to a Little Chef or Motorway Service Station. Where to start... ice in the orange juice (for breakfast!), toast only toasted on one side, tinned mushrooms, pre-cooked scrambled eggs, hash browns from a packet, pancakes supplied by Mothers Pride or their ilk...the list goes on and on.

We visited this restaurant today and being middle aged were rather dubious about it looking from the outside. What a surprise, food, service and atmosphere were all superb. My daughter who is a chef thought it was excellent and very good value for the prices that were charged. Can't wait to go again next time we visit her!
