This must be one of the very few places in this part of town where one can have a decent meal and a drink for under £25 a head. It's pretty small and its standard menu (Madras, Tikka Masala, Onion Bhajee etc.) is never going to attract Bombay Bras. type attention but so what? I've always found the food really tasty and the staff friendly and attentive. Hot towels when you've finished are a real winner. Usually about 2/3 full, so busy enough to generate a bit of ambiance.
Only minor gripe is that the interior could do with a bit of smartening up, but it's not too scruffy so don't be put off. Loos cramped but fine.
