La Delizia

This restaurant lies in a parade off the Kings Road with many interesting shops. Running along side it. La Delizia is a buzzing place full of interesting and noteable people. The presentation of the food is wonderful and the food is amazing. And the wine delicious too. La Delizia is a real find with really nice staff who take pride in the food. And excellent value for money.

La Delizia is one of Chelsea's best kept secrets.
Tucked away in the quiet but friendly, Chelsea Manor Street, is the colourful and happy haven.
Just by stepping through the door you feel like you have been transported to Italy.
The aromas of delicious home cooked Italian food, the friendly faces, the hand rendered murals of Italy on the wall and the warmth of the Damiano family, all make up the intimate ambience of La Delizia.
What I love most about La Delizia is it is a place for all occasions, no matter how formal. The recipes have been passed down through generations, and Michele gets just as excited about the food as he did when his grandmother cooked it.
The pizza's are the best in London and the Specials are worth trying, especially the Ferro salad.
Thanks Michele, Alex, Riccardo and Amy, coming to your restaurant is nothing but a treat.

I went to La Delizia last night with some friends after reading the lovely reviews that said it was absolutely amazing. Frankly, I was disappointed. This isn't to say that La Delizia isn't a nice place - it is - but it's not as good as the hype.
The main point to make is that it's very, very small. It's more of a café than a restaurant - there is seating for about 20 people max. This is one of the reasons why there is a lack of atmosphere.
The other thing was, on a Saturday night, there were only two tables of customers including my own. The other table was an American family which leads me to think that La Delizia is a place for families with young children rather than a student and some friends.
The food is very nice - the portions are large and it is well priced - and certainly reminds me of Italy.
The staff at La Delizia are very friendly and efficient and I think I'd definately return again, though probably for an informal lunch rather than dinner.

I dont normally do that, but the new lad,Ricardo,he deserve it.
Every time I go there, since they took over,I feel in Italy, and I know is Chelsea.
Probably because they know me,but they are friendly indeed.
Fodd is great, not big menu, pizzas and pastas and salads only, but genuinely italian.
Prices?ridicolous,cheaper than ever.
well done chaps,keep Chelsea up.

Lovely pizza in a quiet Chelsea street, you have to try trappola or the owner's special. Open late and they do phone orders as well. Tommaso - the owner is extremely friendly and you can bump into celebrities as well - just seen Sol Campbell there on Friday night.
