Abetone

Myself and my fiancee went to Abetone for a romantic meal. The waiter was very friendly, but incomepetent, examples being that he did not offer a wine list and tried to take away unfinished plates. The food was very average with little thought going into the preparation and presentation of the dishes. I wouldn't recommend Abetone to anyone. I make better Italian food at home and Im as Italian as a goodfellas pizza.

The restaurant has nice decor and would suggest asking to be seated upstairs.

The menu was typical of the many Italian restaurants in the area and the specials were amazing...at least the would have been had we been offered!

The bill came to £75 for two with a bottle of house red and no coffee for desert. I checked the bill and it had been carefully doctored.

I suggest there are many other restaurants in the area that offer better food, service and can add up a bill better! avoid at all cost and if you must go there don't bother bringing any complaints to the management - they are simply not interested
