went here recently for lunch and had a surprisingly good meal.

atmosphere was buzzing and it got very packed around 1pm.

staff were friendly, attentive, polite and unphased by how busy the place got.

food was delicious, we shared the lamb burger which was very nice and the steak sandwich which is one of the best steak sandwiches i have ever had, served with a pot of creamed cheese on the side as well which i wasn't sure of but it is such a great combination!! would definitely be back

Excellent atmosphere at lunchtime & evenings. Food is great, service is friendly and efficient. Very good value for money.

Staff are very good, there if needed but unobtrusive when not required.

We always enjoy our lunch times or evenings in Pause

I've been coming here every few months since it opened and have never been disappointed.

Service is good, food delicious and reasonably priced, atmosphere and decor lovely.

Highly recommended either over lunch (which you can easily do in an hour) or after work - the happy hour before 7pm is great!

Pause...............before entering through the doors of this establishment. A poor show, we return rather perturbed from a rushed, uncomfortable and tasteless lunch experience at Pause.

I have been going to Pause since it first opened. I love it. The staff are fantastic, the food is wonderful. The drinks are very good and the cocktails are out of this world. The Happy Hour is splendid. I HIGHLY recommend the Kinky Martini - my favourite. Fantastic venue. Best in the City of London by far.

Excellent venue for lunchtime, where you are guaranteed a man-size portion and can be in and out in an 1 hour. One of my favoutite places in the City at the moment due to the excellent service (waitrasses always smiling), quality of food, good atmosphere and choice of wines.

Also very nice as an evening venue, but can get busy.

The only ciritism is the lack of vegetarian options - but the options available are so yummy that I do find myself going back time and time again.
