This restaurant is just round the corner from us but we tried it for the first time the other evening. All in all we had a really enjoyable evening. Food was pretty good. Nothing amazing but for the money extremely good value. Service was very friendly and it has a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I decided on this restaurant after I had a fantastic lunch at the Covent Garden branch. The atmosphere was dreary but only because it was a Sunday evening. We ordered the largest seafood platter (crab and lobster). A word of warning: the platter is HUGE and it doesn't help that they stack the food! It certainly looked extravagent but completely manageable in terms of eating capability! I wasn't too keen on the cold seafood selection which included the crab and the lobster but the mussels were divine! Although I woudn't order the platter again, I would certainly try another dish next time round!

Highly recommended, I've been to this one once and it is representative of the chain which I am lucky enough to have visited on very numerous occasions.
The only complaint could be that it can get a bit samey after a while, but that's only a because I've been so many times. You occasionally get some seafood pasta dishes such as linguine that depart from the usual offerings and this sort of thing is welcome relief from what is usually a pretty purist fish and veg restaurant which doesn't vary its offerings much.
You get specials but the starters are predominantly smoked salmon, mackerel pate or shellfish. More variation would be welcome but I awarded ten in all categories except a 9 for value, it is on the pricey side for what it is.
