This place looked inviting. We order mamosas and was told there were two of them. They were each the size of chicken nugget or a little smaller.
Four other tables were served their food way before us and some of them came in 30 minutes later. They kept bringing the wrong food to our table.
When I went to the ladies room - in the basement there was no toilet paper and it wasn't the cleanest which bothered me.
When we got the bill there was a charge we did not understand and when the head waiter answered in poor english we finally figured out service charge. On the menu it stated discretionary service. What does that mean? If you complain do they add a service charge. I think that is what happened. We asked about the food numerous times.
The Coca Cola was outrageously priced.
No rushing back the next time I am in London.

Seemed a pretty standard curry house. Not particularly good or bad. I had the Madras which was nice and spicy but the sauce was a little bit watery. Central London location (which explains the expense) and friendly staff.

Four of us went to Indian Brasserie on thursday night the food was great. I would not normally go to the west end for a home style curry, but one has proved me wrong. Excellent food topped up with exceptional service with is not normal for west end indian restaurants. Well Done to Mr. Rashid and his team

This has to be one of the worst indian restaurants I have ever visited.
The food was bland and unadventourous. Bombay potatoes was warm and potatoes stale (like it had been left over from a couple of days ago) Chicken chilli masala was no different, supposed to be very hot (as in spicy) but could have easily fed it to a young child. Chicken was tough (again - like it had been left over)
Prices were expensive
Food lukewarm
Portions pathetically small considering the prices,
The drinks werre served unchilled (ordinary can of coke costs £2.50!!)
Service charge was diabolical £5.75 - wholly undeserved and will do my very best to tell family and friends to keep well away! Trust me, I regret not going to mcdonalds.

I simply cannot understand the good reviews for this place! I went here on Saturday night having read the reviews on this site, and I thought I'd really enjoy it.
Instead, the food was overpriced, lukewarm and decidedly average in flavour. The (expensive) bottle of white wine was served at room temperature and we weren't provided with any means of chilling it. And the service was appalling - at one point, a waiter actually tutted at me when I asked him for a glass of water!
After all that, the bill came with an automatic 12.5% service charge on top. We asked them to take it off, which is something I normally never bother to do, but that's how strongly we felt about the substandard quality of this place!!
Never again...
